Following on the Presidential announcement, we will be respecting the enforced National Lockdown to curtail the spreading of Covid-19, which became effective as of midnight Thursday 26th March 2020.In the interests of your safety and that of our employees, the following operational guidelines are applicable across our Dealership network.        
Our Dealers are now working responsibly by Government guidelines issued on 23 March 2020. These guidelines allow for a limited number of  dealerships' working facilities to remain open to service (diagnosis, repair) essential service workers' vehicles only.

Please refer to the list below for the designated Dealership workshops accessible for the maintenance of key workers’ vehicles.

Our service to our customers remains a priority during these trying times.
As such, our Customer Care line will still be available with limited support, and Roadside Assistance will always remain available. These are contactable on 086 17362 858  (  By pressing 1 for customer care and 2 for roadside assistance ) and Renault Towing Assist at 0861 746 263 (for Accidents only)     For all maintenance enquiries, including requests to reschedule your service (diagnosis, repair) at a future convenient date, please submit an online service booking on our website by clicking on the Service Booking option.
Sales facilities in our retailer network will be closed in line with current Government recommendations, both for enquiries and vehicle deliveries.      

Will I be able to complete scheduled maintenance or repairs on my vehicle?

In line with Government advice, Only a select number of retailers' workshop facilities remain open for urgent maintenance of Key workers' vehicles only. If you are a key worker and need assistance, please click on the link to find the nearest workshop near you to enquire about availability.  A list of dealership workshops available for maintenance of key workers' vehicles will be published on this page as soon as the information is available.


 Vehicles that are serviced by Roadside Assitance that fall out of the essential vehicle's parameters will be towed to either the customers' residence or place of work, and where not possible, to a designated area of safety.

  Should you have had a service appointment scheduled, during the shutdown period, and post-shutdown your vehicle is now outside of the service schedule parameters as per the guidelines within the vehicles warranty booklet, the vehicle's warranty will not be adversely affected.  To book an urgent service, please contact Customer Care via the website with your prior service appointment information, vehicle details, present mileage and preferred servicing dealer, so that Renault South Africa can prioritise your vehicle service booking once the shutdown period expires.  

What measures are in place to protect my health and safety if I need to visit a Renault dealership after the lockdown period?

 Renault retailers will be taking all necessary precautions to protect the health and safety of customers and employees. These include:   

  • Observing appropriate social distancing at all times                 
  • Disinfecting and sanitising surfaces within vehicles, such as steering wheels, gear levers, door handles and controls                          
  • Regular hand washing and use of protective gloves                     


Customers may request to observe the disinfecting of their vehicle before collection, if required .

I am due to take delivery of my vehicle. What should I do?

Deliveries of new vehicles are now suspended until further notice.

If your current vehicle is funded via a Renault Financial Services finance agreement, please call our customer service number to arrange a potential extension of your existing agreement to enable you to keep your current vehicle until delivery of your new vehicle is possible.     

If your current vehicle is funded via any other financial services provider or bank, you should contact them for further information on how to proceed. Your Renault retailer will be in contact to arrange a suitable handover date for your new vehicle as soon as possible, in accordance with Government guidelines.
